Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage incorporates the use of warm basalt stones to relax the muscles so a deeper pressure can be used if needed or desired.
Using hot stones allows the tissues, muscles and joints to relax, making it possible for deeper manipulation of the affected areas. This provides the benefits of a remedial treatment, without any discomfort and creates a sense of comfort and warmth.
Hot stone massage assists every cell in the body to receive more oxygen and nutrients while increasing lymphatic flow and eliminating toxins.
The benefits of hot stone massage include:
Deep relaxation, the warmth relaxes both physically and mentally Stress is reduced, relieving mental and physical fatigue

Circulation is improved and toxins and waste are eliminated more quickly
The warmth can relieve pain in muscles and joints
Myofascial Cupping
A Myofascial Cupping treatment uses a combination of massage strokes and negative pressure to lift, separate, and stretch underlying soft tissues. Cupping is typically applied on the shoulders, back, sacrum, hip, thigh, calves, and upper arms.
Areas of musculoskeletal tension or congestion are located using massage techniques, and cups may be applied on an affected area and moved over the surface in a gliding motion, or possibly put on a fascial adhesion or trigger point for a short time to reduce or eliminate it.
Cupping procedures may leave light to dark red marks on the skin that disappear in 5 to 14 days.
Myofascial Cupping can help treat soft tissue conditions and musculoskeletal tension, pain, and common sporting injuries. It can also create relaxation through stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

K Taping
Kinesiology tape (K Tape) is a flexible, breathable tape applied to the skin to support muscles and joints without restricting movement. It’s commonly used to help reduce pain, swelling, and muscle fatigue, while also aiding recovery.

At our clinic, K Tape is often used alongside massage or physiotherapy to enhance treatment results.
The tape gently lifts the skin, which improves circulation and lymphatic drainage, helping to reduce inflammation and promote healing. It can also provide targeted support to specific areas, encouraging better posture and movement patterns during activity or recovery.

K Tape is suitable for both injury management and injury prevention, making it a useful tool for athletes and non-athletes alike.
Acupunture and Dry Needling
At our clinic, we offer both acupuncture and dry needling as part of our treatment approach to help manage pain, reduce muscle tension, and support overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles, using fine needles placed at specific points to help rebalance the body and promote natural healing.

Dry needling is a modern technique that targets muscular trigger points — those tight, sore knots — to help release tension and improve movement.

Both methods are carried out by Charlotte and can be used on their own or alongside other treatments to support your recovery.
